Stock market tumbles but Riley walks!!!

It's official. Riley is now walking, she has taken some steps before but now is taking several steps without losing her balance.

Riley is standing now!

Riley is officially standing on her own now. She can walk on her own, but is still a little chicken. I think she will start walking any day now.

The Injury!

For those of you who do not already know little Riley was injured on Sunday (7th) the day after her birthday. She was riding in her new car with her Granddaddy and I. We were walking around the block when the door flew open and Riley went out head first. My father was behind her pushing the car and dove and caught her head from hitting the pavement. Unfortuantely, her foot wasn't so lucky. She scrapped her foot up pretty bad. The xrays were negative and we were sent home to bandage her up. After a day she was putting more and more weight on it. She is crawling, standing and walking on.it now. Tough little girl, almost back to normal. We still need to post some pics from the party, it was a great time.

My Saturday at work

Today I am assigned to a religious event on the Mall. The event is called "The Call" and I have been saved and blessed and prayed for all day. Hopefully all the prayers help out. In case you are jealous and want to watch they are broadcasting live on God TV on the internet or directv channel 365. Believe me the short video doesn't.do the large crowd justice. Wow a couple of fanatics down here. Hopefully I get off a 2 pm still.

Pigtails!

Well as you can see I have pretty bad about keeping the blog updated, the last post was over a month ago. No excuses, but we have been busy. We kept saying that we were going to post to catch up but we never did. I will try to keep up with the blog a little better, maybe some nice comments from everyone out there reading would help keep me motivated.
Yes, Riley has pigtails in the picture. She finally has enough hair to look like a mess most of the time. Riley is doing great, she can stand up on her own now for a few seconds. She will take a couple of steps, but then if you do not catch her she will fall over. She is very fast with the crawling, we had to invest in some gates to keep her contained. She is eating mostly regular food now with a few jars and bottles still mixed in. Her favorites are hot dogs, mac and cheese, chicken, spagetti and juice. The only confirmed words are still Mama and Dada. She likes to mess with Lisa about saying Mama. More to come later...

I thought this was a interesting license plate. I can only assume this is a way to beat red light and speed enforcement cameras. Ofcourse you know what they say about assuming. Anyways can you read the tag?
