Happy Birthday Aunt Liz!!!

Happy Birthday to Aunt Liz! I would have liked Riley to do her usual birthday greetings, but someone was a bit of a cranky pants tonight! She had a rough day......daddy had to work this morning so she was at daycare allllllll day! She did however want to make sure Aunt Liz knew we were thinking of her! Lookin' good Aunt Liz!

Riley gets a visit from Aunt Liz and the Gang!

What a crazy week we had! After Thelma & Louise headed out, the croup rolled in! Yup, Riley got the croup again along with a fun little ear infection. The Dr seemed to think that having our second round of croup so close to the first was just a run of bad luck! Hopefully, she won't get that again!!! As usual, she was quite the trooper through the whole thing. Daddy had to work quite a bit this past week due to the Pope being in town and the Nazis in for a demonstration.

Aunt Liz and Cousins Marissa and Garrett rolled into town at the perfect time! Riley was able to stay home from daycare on Friday and hang out with the family while Mommy and Daddy worked. Riley really hammed it up for Aunt Liz and had her wrapped around her finger in no time!!!! Aunt Liz took the kids over to the park for a bit and enjoyed the beautiful weather we were having! Marissa and Garrett jumped right in to help with the feeding and even a little diaper changing! I would post that picture, but in 10 years Riley will have a fit that we posted nudie shots of her! The kids were like pros helping out! On Saturday we were off for some shopping. The day flew by and next thing we knew it was Sunday! We had a great time and wish they could have stayed longer! Riley is sure going to miss all of the attention she has gotten over the last two weeks :0)

Thelma and Louise roll into town!

Grandma Lori and Lynn stopped by last night for a nice visit to see Riley. They were on a couple of days road trip to see Lynn's daughter and the beach. NY is on spring break right now. Speaking of NY, Lisa just back from visiting her friend Krista up in Rochester for a bridal shower party. We are going to the wedding in June. This was Lisa's first trip away from Riley. She was sad, but did pretty good considering. Nothing really new to report with Riley except that she is getting bigger and bigger every day. She really enjoys being the "big girl" now in the big stroller and big car seat. She is also eating more and more different foods.

Grandaddy has made a grand entrance!

Granddaddy has arrived and has already sang some songs to Riley. Riley loves to hear music. She sat their and listened to Granddaddy play for 20 minutes! She was actually moving around (dancing) and talking (singing) during some of the songs.

Grammy's visit!

Grammy is in town visiting Riley this week. Here she is giving her a little oatmeal in the morning. Granddaddy will be arriving on Wednesday.

Riley is no longer in the carrier, she has graduated to the shopping cart!

Cherry Blossom Week!

It is that time a year again in DC, for the next two weeks hundreds of thousands of people will visit DC. They will sit in traffic for three plus hours just to look at the pink flowers on a tree. Let me save you the trouble, here is a picture of one of the trees. We are all doing great, Riley is growing up so quickly. She is rolling around on the floor now and she sits up great all by herself. She is also eating all different types of baby food. I think she is going to say Daddy any day now. We can't wait for next week, Riley's grandparents are coming to visit. We will send more pics soon!
