More Easter Day

The Easter Bunny stopped by and left Riley a few little goodies in her basket....and some chocolate for mommy and daddy! She loves her new sunglasses and just had to show them off to the neighborhood. She's such a little ham! Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!

Here's the picture of Riley with the Easter Bunny. She did great considering how long we stood in line! This was the only smile she was giving up! Hopefully we will be a little more diligent with the pictures (no promises though!) and will post tomorrow after brunch with the cousins!

Cousins

We meant to post these last week, but as usual......we are late! Riley and Maisie had a play date last Saturday. The girls had a great time! They are going to be trouble when they get older :0)

Happy Easter

Riley got all dolled up in her Easter dress for some pictures! She was quite the ham! Today we went to see the Easter Bunny with cousin Maisie! Both girls did great considering the Easter Bunny was very late showing up. Gina and I believe the ole bunny was out "tying one on" last night! He wasn't the most energetic thing! We will try to scan and post that picture later. Love and miss you all!

Death March at the White House

We had demos today in DC, I wish these people had to work for a living. There were a few problems, at IRS and the White House. I was at the White House when the demonstrators decided they would block of the white house sidewalk themselves with police line tape. We of course stopped them and one of the demonstrators tried to hit a police officer. They were placed under arrest at the dismay of the other protesters.

Happy St. Patty's Day

Riley had her 6 month Dr appointment on Monday and here are her official stats.....She is now 16 lbs and 26 1/4 in long. She is rolling over and sitting up by herself for short periods of time. There has still been no confirmation of her saying "dada" as of yet. Maybe she doesn't want to hurt mommy's feelings!!! She has also started Stage 1 foods....we are finding her to be a bit picky with the veggies. Fruit, however, she LOVES!!!

6 Months!!!

It's official! Riley turned 6 months old today! She is growing sooooo fast! Daddy swears she said dada the other day, but it has yet to be confirmed! It seems like it was yesterday that we brought her home!
